Properties and Usage
Properties:
APF6201 is a copolymer of acrylic acid and 2-acrylanmido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid. The carboxylic group (scale inhibition and dispersion) and sulfonic acid group (strong polarity) are more quantity than traditional AA/AMPS in this copolymer, APF6201 has high calcium tolerance and good scale inhibition for calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate and zinc scale.
When built with organophosphines, the synergic effect is obvious.
APF6201 is particularly suitable to be used in water quality of high pH, high alkaline and high hardness, it is one of the ideal scale inhibitor and dispersant on high concentration index.
Usage:
APF6201 can be used as scale inhibitor and dispersant in open circulating cooling water system, oilfield refill water system, metallurgy system and iron & steel plants to prevent sediment of ferric oxide. When built with organophosphorines and zinc salt, the suitable pH value is 7.0-9.5.
Package and Storage
Package: APF6201 liquid: Normally in 200L HDPE drum, 1000L IBC, or customers’ requirement.
Storage: Storage for 12 months in shady room and dry place.
Storage temperature:0.00 - 40.00 °C(32.00 - 104 ° F).
Keep from freezing ------product stability may be affected.
During transportation and storage, if crystallization occurs due to low temperature, it can be dissolved by steam or hot water without affecting performance.
